How to Start Subscription |
You just need to fill out Magazine
Subscription Application Form and give it to Japanese Book Department (JBD). Forms
are available from our website. You can also ask for forms by visiting Japanese
Book Department counter or contacting following details. (Tell)

Payment |
Payment for
subscription is processed on each issue basis, not prepayment. Only a credit card
is acceptable in payment for customers who wish to receive magazines by
delivery. If you would like
to pick up magazines in store rather than receiving by post, payment is required
at the cashier after receiving magazines at Japanese Book Department counter.
Cash, credit card, EFTPOS and Kinokuniya Gift Voucher can be used at the cashier. |

Cancellation of subscription becomes
effective approximately 3 weeks after you give us a notice. Magazines must be purchased until
cancellation becomes effective. ◆
Refund is made in an event when the
magazine is damaged or miss-bound. ◆
SMS or E-mail is sent as a notice of
arrival of magazines. (No phone call or fax) |

Pick-Up |

The magazines must be picked up within a
month after arrival . If magazines are not picked up without a notice after a
month, subscription is cancelled automatically. ◆
When you are not able to come to pick up, delivery
service can be organised. (See “Delivery” below) |

Delivery |

Postage depends on the area magazines to be
sent to. (See next page). ◆
Secure post is used for all delivery (See
next page). ◆
Magazines are dispatched all together when
numerous titles of magazines are subscribed. For example, if you subscribe
biweekly and monthly magazines, two times of deliveries are organized during
a month in, one of which contains the two titles of magazines. ◆
Any undelivered or missed issue would be
reported to JBD once that is recognized. However, there is no guarantee that
you can have the issue you missed as magazines are not restocked. ◆
A change of the address must be reported to
JBD. ◆
Back issues are not available for
subscription. |
