Meet-The-Writer: Adam Glass of Deadpool and Suicide Squad

3rd May 2013 (Friday)
7.30 p.m. - 8.30 p.m.
Kinokuniya Singapore Main Store, Crossroads
Adam Glass, the writer and executive producer of the internationally famed television series Supernatural and also three-time New York Times best-selling author of Deadpool: Suicide Kings, Suicide Squad: Kicked in the Teeth and Suicide Squad: Basilisk Rising, will be making a special appearance at Kinokuniya Singapore Main Store on Friday, 3rd May 2013 at 7.30 p.m. to meet his fans and conduct an exclusive book-signing session.

A disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary, Deadpool’s primary power is an accelerated healing factor. Artificially endowed by the Weapon X program, this enables him to regenerate any destroyed tissue at a super-human rate as well as making him immune to all known diseases. In Deadpool: Suicide Kings, he is hired for a million dollar project where he later finds himself being framed for an explosion and the killing of innocent people. With a few unlikely allies on his side, Daredevil and Spider-Man join Deadpool in the search for the true culprit of the crime.

The Suicide Squad, as the title suggests, is about a team of death-row super villains recruited by the government to take on brutal and almost-suicidal missions as a way to reduce their prison sentences. In Suicide Squad (Vol. 1): Kicked in the Teeth, Harley Quinn, a former psychiatrist who fell in love with the Joker and turned to a life of crime, caused a prison riot at Belle Reeve penitentiary and escaped. Now, Amanda Waller who is leading the squad has assigned them to find Harley and bring her back!

In Suicide Squad (Vol. 2): Basilisk Rising, the notorious team of super villains try to recover from their catastrophic mission in Gotham City. A traitor, however, lurks in the shadows… His mission – to assassinate Amanda Waller and expose the Squad, leaving the team in ruins!
