In conjunction with the launch of the new Amos Lee television series – The Diary Of Amos Lee, on MediaCorp’s Okto channel, local best-selling author Adeline Foo has penned and launched a new Amos Lee book titled The Diary Of Amos Lee: Your D.I.Y Toilet Diary to Fame to give her fans a double treat during the start of this new year!

Together with an enthusiastic teenage host and Stephanie Wong – her trusty illustrator for the Amos Lee series, Adeline Foo held the launch of The Diary Of Amos Lee: Your D.I.Y Toilet Diary to Fame at Kinokuniya Singapore Main Store on Sunday, 15th January 2012, much to the excitement of both her loyal fans as well as new Amos Lee book series converts.

Speaking eagerly to both children and their parents, Adeline fed them with interesting facts about the new Amos Lee do-it-yourself diary as well as The Diary Of Amos Lee television series. A quiz segment, together with a colouring session, was also conducted at the same time to keep the children engaged. Those who participated were rewarded with Amos Lee badges as well as cookies sponsored by Allanbakes.

The author seemed happiest when she spotted her new Amos Lee fans – an expatriate family whom she had gotten to know from her recent Overseas Family School visit. This Indian family that had just moved to Singapore from London expressed their love for the Amos Lee series as they were able to learn more about local culture from the books. They subsequently bought Adeline Foo’s other book title Whoopie Lee: Almost Famous for one of their friends back in London.
