Customers at Kinokuniya Singapore Main Store were in for an entertaining treat when popular local comedian Kumar and former journalist Ivan Lim joined us for a book-signing event for the comedian’s biography Kumar: From Rags To Drag on Saturday, 29th October 2011.

Entertaining the crowd with his usual comedic antics, Kumar spoke colloquially with the eager audience about his biography, which was released to mark his 20th year in the entertainment industry. This was followed by the celebrity making more comedic comments, a la stand-up comedy style, bringing more laughter to the audience.

Kumar and Ivan Lim further entertained fans and interested customers during the book-signing session by conversing and also graciously agreeing to snap photographs with them upon the customers’ request before the event came to a close.
