Attracting a tremendous fan fare, famous Singaporean song-writers and music producers, Lee Weisong and Lee Sisong celebrated their first successful book-signing event for their recently published book Music Paradise on Sunday, 5th June 2011 at Books Kinokuniya. Held in Mandarin, the event kicked off with a friendly banter between radio personality Ken from 100.3FM and the twin brothers about their inspirations and experiences of penning songs for renowned celebrity singers like Jacky Cheung and Stefanie Sun. The event reached a high point when local singing sensation Stefanie Sun appeared to present flowers to her mentors, and spoke fondly about her musical growth and experiences of working with the two music producers, much to the delight of the audience! Stefanie Sun was also first in line to get her copy of Music Paradise autographed by her mentors. With the sight of familiar faces of the two musician brothers, the special appearance made by celebrity Stefanie Sun and presence of another upcoming celebrity Jones Shi, as well as several other veteran and well known singers from the 1980s at Kinokuniya Singapore Main Store, customers’ interest were stirred and many were seen snapping photos of them. All these contributed to the overwhelming and successful turnout. This event was also featured on both Mediacorp’s Xin MSN and Singapore Press Holdings’ RazorTV websites.
