In conjunction with the December holidays, Books Kinokuniya Singapore welcomed David Benedictus, author of Return To The Hundred Acre Wood for a storytelling-cum-book signing session at Singapore Main Store, which was well received by our customers.

With an enthusiastic crowd that surprisingly comprised of more adults, David Benedictus did a reading from Return To The Hundred Acre Wood - a story about the excitement of Christopher Robin’s return to The Hundred Acre Wood and new adventures with favourite characters like Winnie-The-Pooh! The author also shared with the audience that his favourite character is Eeyore and how he could relate to it as he shares similar traits with the character.

A book signing session was conducted after and customers managed to get their copies of the book signed by the author. David Benedictus appeared very appreciative when talking to customers who got their books autographed. With a spontaneous and down-to-earth attitude, the author’s interaction with customers certainly brought smiles to them, so much so that a customer was also seen giving a little Winnie-The-Pooh figurine keychain to David Benedictus to show his appreciation to the author!
