Fans and supporters of Master Chef Kunio Tokuoka had a treat when the renowned Japanese chef made an exclusive appearance at Kinokuniya Singapore Main Store for his new book Kitcho: Japan's Ultimate Dining Experience on 14th August.

The Michelin-starred executive chef of Japan's renowned dining establishment 'Kitcho' wowed the crowd with his signature 'kunio tokuoka' sake and his affable personality as he met his supporters on the Saturday afternoon. The highlight of the event for all of us was to hear Master Chef Tokuoka share on his favourite and most representative dishes, thoughts, inspirations and the like. The chef also displayed the humorous side of him with his reply to a question on dealing with fatigue from work that sleeping is the best way to overcome fatigue from long-hours of work in the kitchen!

Before they left, fans and supporters also got their copy of the book signed as well as receiving a coveted 'kunio tokuoka' restaurant voucher from the chef himself. Some even had a photo with Master Chef Tokuoka as remembrance of this wonderful day!

We can only say, it was a fantastic session enjoying the sake and having an up-close interaction with the otherwise very busy chef, and we certainly look forward to providing more of such memorable experience for our customers.
